Donyan Shadions returns to EACMSI after being away for four years. Her travels have taken her to Europe and the Dominican Republic where she started our sister school in the Caraballo Haitian Batey named in Andrea's honor. Donyan has spent the last two years in Ohio working at a facility for the elderly using the Montessori method with Alzheimers and dementia residents. She has also worked at a women's center as a Spanish speaking parent educator and bilingual library assistant.
Donyan received her Montessori primary certification in 2002 from CMTE. She lives with her daughter Zairra and her husband Jonathan, who has just arrived in the United States from the Dominican Republic.
