Jim Hodges
Adolescent Guide
Jim Hodges was the lead Middle School Teacher at The Susquehanna School, a progressive independent school in Binghamton, NY for 13 years, where he developed an integrated curriculum for adolescents and taught all subjects. He joined the EAC Montessori Adolescent staff ten years ago. Jim enjoys gardening, hiking, and camping, among other outdoor activities, interests he brings to his work with adolescents. Jim received his B.A. in English from SUNY Albany and his MAT in English from Binghamton University. He has permanent N.Y.S. teacher certification for grades pre-K to 6 and 7 - 12 in English. In addition, Jim has taken some courses towards Montessori Adolescent training in July 2002 at the NAMTA Montessori Academy at Loyola College in Baltimore. He lives with his wife, Tina and two sons in Ecovillage.
