Linda Chen received her M.A. and Ed.M in Music and Music Education from Teachers College, Columbia University. Linda came to us from a Montessori school in Queens where she taught music for 5 years. She loves to engage with different instrumentation, singing, listening, rhythm games, creative movement, storytelling, as well as multi-cultural experiences with students during her teaching. Linda participated in the Montessori Music Conference in Rochester, NY in 2006 and received her Music Together Training at Hopewell Music Together Headquarters. She is also Orff Level I and II certified and is looking forward to work on her Kodaly Level 1 Teacher Certification at NYU and Dalcroze training this summer in NYC. Her interests include baking, arts and crafts, tennis, and jogging. Linda lives with her husband, Tony, in Owego.
