Meridith Jones

Meridith Jones graduated from SUNY Environmental Sciences and Forestry in 2001 with a Bachelor's degree in Biology. She has several years of experience working for agencies in Syracuse and Ithaca that support and advocate for people with disabilities. While living in Syracuse she became involved in fostering and placing stray pets in new homes, and in Ithaca has been an occasional volunteer with TCSPCA's offsite adoption program. Meridith received her Early Childhood Montessori certification through the Northeast Montessori Institute and has her Master's in Education from Endicott College. Nature and the outdoors are a big part of her life. Meridith lives in Freeville with her partner, four cats and dog.
