First buddy day in honor of Andrea Riddle Day.
Our students love everything about a buddy day! Just the anticipation of finding out who this year’s buddy would be put everyone into a frenzied state. For some reason, it is beyond exciting (especially for the older children) to greet their new friends.
Some of the buddy pairs have been
together for many years and they              truly love each other.
Many meet for the first time on Andrea Riddle Day.
Anne Robbins devotes herself to crafting the buddy pairs every year. She especially loves to pair same-name children together. (Gavin and Gavin; Lucas and Lucas; Sam and Sam.) Those who might be a little anxious get a particularly sensitive Middle Schooler. Wilder children are paired with equally energetic but more responsible older students who can watch out for safety.
Such a fun way to spend a beautiful fall day.
would have loved it!
