EAC Celebrates 35 years!

My EAC Phone App

This year, we are proud to celebrate our 35th year of educating and nurturing children in the Finger Lakes area and continuing the legacy of transforming the world through the education of our children.

This exciting milestone is only one of the many markers that point to the depth and breadth of the EAC legacy. Every inch of our campus is resplendent and bursting with pride: from the Tea House on our Field of Dreams to the practice room in our Music Suite; from the beautiful new coat room and classroom in the Upper Level Annex, to the cascading tomatoes in our greenhouse. We also have new sidewalks and lighting outside of our main entrance: in keeping with our mission, EAC is committed to facilities maintenance and upgrades whenever possible.

In mid-September we proudly unveiled, “My EAC”, the official smartphone app for current families of EACMSI. It can be used to have ready access to the EAC calendar and other areas of interest making communication between home and school even easier for our parents. And, this month we held our first MontessoriCorps meeting for parents and other friends of EAC who are interesting in a more active volunteer presence on campus.

We will again be offering EAC Camp for Primary and Junior Level children during our February and Spring breaks. These programs were well loved last year as children participated in art, cooking and outdoor activities, taking advantage of all that our campus has to offer.

The 2014/15 school year is abuzz with the work of 232 students and 40 faculty and staff – our largest enrollment ever! Families are flocking to our site atop the hill on East King Road, lured by our reputation for programs of excellence and our noteworthy determination to meet the needs of every one of our students.

It is truly an honor to steward this magical place.
